Shu Uemura Tokyo Lash Mascara First Impressions/Review

Hi guys! Friday today, yaaaaay. So today, I have a first impression/review of this, Shu Uemura Tokyo Lash Mascara. p:
I don't usually wear mascara because I find that all the ones I have transfer/smudge onto my eyelid/under eye area by midday. But that doesn't mean I don't want to wear it! :c I'm always on the lookout for new mascaras to try and hopefully, one day, I will be able to wear mascara and not have it smudge to hell by the end of the day.

Here's a description of it straight from the Shu Uemura website:

"Volume-type mascara for lacquer-black lashes. New crisscross brush catches shortest lashes and brings out lash makeup as if it were done by a make-up artist.Long-lasting and smudge-proof!"

I got this from Pam, so I'm not sure exactly how much she bought it for, but on the website, they have it for $29 CAD. -crying- I've honestly never spent more than 15 dollars for mascara...maybe my lashes are too high maintenance for the cheap stuff I usually use.

So this is basically what it looks like on the outside:

Black and red, very simple. I like it. :3

And the brush looks like this:

So many bristles oooooooo.

Here's a before mascara and after mascara comparison (yay for crappy iPhone pictures):

I've only used it once (for the purpose of this post),so I can't say TOO much about it. But it seems I've finally found a mascara that doesn't transfer to other parts of my face after a few hours of wear. Yaaaay, no more bringing q-tips around with me everywhere! The description definitely did not lie to me saying it was smudge-proof and long lasting. It also does make my eyelashes longer and more defined. In the after picture I only did one coat, but I'm sure if I did another one my lashes would have looked even longer and thicker. And I guess this concludes my first impressions on this mascara. Thanks for reading! :3

(Also, I'll try to post better pictures for this in the near future! Please keep checking back if you're interested. :>)

Also, I'd love to know what you guys think about it if you've used it too! Please leave a comment :3
