Today, I'll be reviewing the 3CE Lip Pigment which Annie introduced me to. You guys are probably thinking "lip pigment" sounds fancy and expensive, it's actually not. 3CE (3 Concept Eyes) is a Korean brand by StyleNanda. The lip pigment helps you create a distinctive, fresh and new look! Best of all, you can blend them together to create other colours.
Here's 2 ways that I use it:
1. The Gradient Lip: Apply Concealer and 3CE Lip pigment
2. Blend to colours together
This is how it looks:
(Picture is from StyleNanda's website!)
The first one I'll do is the concealer and lip pigment. You can create something called the gradient lip with these two things. I know it sounds strange to add concealer to your lips (I thought it was stupid), but concealing your lips brings out the colour of the lip pigment.
1st step: Apply concealer on your lips, but before that you should apply lip balm on your lips, in case it's a little dry and you don't want it to look dry (especially with the concealer).
Tip: Don't add too much concealer on your lips or you'll look like you ate a lot of powder donuts (A LOT)
2nd Step: With a tissue, a small makeup sponge or a lip brush, use the lip pigment and apply a little onto sponge/tissue/brush you're using and begin to dab it out from the middle of your lips. Make sure the the colour in the middle is the brightest, as it's supposed to fade out to the outer part of the lips. (I'm using the Electro Pink colour).
I still think it's weird to apply concealer on your lips, but then again my lips do stand out lol.
The second one I'll be doing is blending, using a lipstick and the 3CE lip pigment. Of course we want the colours to pop right? So I decide to use another lipstick rather than using the 3CE Lip pigment by itself.
So I'm using a pink lipstick brand called I. COLOR focus, it's a Hong Kong brand.
1st step: Apply a pink colour lipstick, again I am using a pink lipstick brand called I. COLOR focus.
2nd step: Use the lip pigment and apply well so both colours can blend together.
It actually looks brighter in real life :)
So everyone, try it out, or if you've used it, how do you think it is? How do you use it? Please comment and tell me! :)
Thanks for reading!
